OUR MISSION
To equip kids with the tools and skills necessary to combat generational trauma from addiction in a Christ-centered environment.
OUR VISION
To transform the lives of children and families affected by substance use disorder, guided by the love of Jesus, breaking the chains of generational trauma and fostering a future of hope, healing, and renewal.
How It All Started...
Cameron Whitson, the grandson of our President, tragically passed away from a drug overdose in May 2020. In honor of his life and to ensure his death was not in vain, Dr. Michael Whitson prayerfully founded Cameron’s House of Hope — a one-of-a-kind non-profit in our community. Today, 25% of children are growing up with at least one parent struggling with substance use disorder, putting them at twice the risk of developing addictive behaviors themselves.
Through Cameron’s House of Hope, we are committed to changing the trajectory of these children’s lives, offering them hope and healing, so no parent or grandparent ever has to endure the heartbreaking loss of a child to overdose.

How It All Started...
In May 2020, Cameron Whitson — the beloved grandson of our President — passed away at just 21 years old due to a tragic drug overdose. Cameron was a vibrant, fun-loving young man whose light touched everyone who knew him. His passing left a profound void, and in response, Dr. Michael Whitson prayerfully founded Cameron’s House of Hope — a unique nonprofit dedicated to turning heartbreak into healing for families in our community.
